Annotation and feedback tool

Annotate is an HTML5 rebuild of the Flash based "Red Pen Tool".
It is designed to be added as an extension to an existing e-portfolio or other content management system.
The tool is has been built using Canvas and React with a Symfony REST backend
It works in parallel with a separate system called the DCS (Document Conversion Service)
The DCS has distributed architecture and is used to convert almost any document type to a web-friendly format (usually jpg or mp4)
The DCS can handle all Office document formats as well as all the common audio, video and image formats in use.

This is version 1 of the system, there are more features on the roadmap including a timeline based interface to enable annotations of audio and video files.
